DESCRIPTION OF FEATURES
Description of Features:
It is called "Buddha of Rain" locally. The Buddha is sitting on the waist-gathering Sumeru base in padmasana posture who wears a kasaya and has spiral-shaped hairdo, square face, long opened eyes, upright nose bridge, ears to shoulders, right hand lifting up, left touching knees.The backlight of central layer is peach-shaped. The middle layer depicts seven relief Buddhas with backlight, all in the same position and surrounded by scroll grass patterns. The outer layer is in the design of flame patterns. The base is in the design of a lotus with inscription "大齐天宝四年(554年)三月十二日王志高敬造像一区"
